USHER ANNONCES TOUR DATES

It will be starting in Edmonton and head all the way to Vancouver. That’s not it. Usher is currently setting up his European leg that is said to take place in Portugal and Spain. Tour dates have not been finalized.

Usher Raymond was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on October 14, 1978. He moved to Atlanta with his family when he was 12. Usher started singing in the church choir when he was six years old. When Usher was 14 he was spotted at a talent show by a record executive from LaFace Records. Eventually the company signed the young singer while he was still in high school. In result, Usher has been a successful solo artist since his teens.

Usher released his first album, Usher, which was executive produced by P. Diddy. After the release of this album, Coca-Cola asked him to sing a song for the holidays. Usher also teamed up with R&B singer Monica on her album for a remake of Let's Straighten It Out. After graduating high school in 1997, Usher released his second album titled My Way. In 1998 he was an opening act for Janet Jackson’s Velvet Rope Tour. A few years later, Usher released the album 8701. In March 2004, Usher released his latest album, Confessions. The album has sold more than 2.8 million copies since its debut and the feature single off the disc, Yeah!, hit the top of the Billboard charts.

Usher's only interest isn't singing. He has also appeared in several movies like The Faculty, Light It Up and Texas Rangers. Currently, Usher is a successful singer, dancer, producer and song writer.
